Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia’s popular, outdoor yoga classes begin on the Schuylkill Banks on Saturday, May 6th 2017 at 11:00am. Classes take place on the banks of the Schuylkill River at 25th and Locust Streets and are open to all levels of participants. Yoga on the Banks is a community-supported program, and students pay-what-they-can for class participation (suggested donation is $5). Classes last for one hour, and students are encouraged to bring their own mat, sunglasses, and water.
Yoga on the Banks will continue multiple class offerings in 2017, with weekly Saturday 11:00am classes, an 11:00am Sunday class and a 6:00pm Tuesday class. All classes will take place on the banks of Schuylkill River at 25th and Locust Streets.
“Our goal is to provide a fun, healthy outdoor activity for Philadelphians, and to make yoga accessible for everyone,” said Erin Gautsche, Co-Director of yoga on the Banks. “Classes are pay-what-you-can, and all donations go directly to support our certified teachers, assistants, and organization.” Philadelphia Yoga on the Banks’ schedule, and additional information, is available at www.yogaonthebanks.com.
